Jeff Nero Hardy was born on August 31, 1977 in Cameron, North Carolina. He is the son of Gilbert and Ruby Moore Hardy and the younger brother of fellow wrestler Matt Hardy. As a child, he was an avid fan of motorcross, which he still does as a hobby. During his school year, he played baseball and football but eventually chose wrestling over sports. One of the biggest influences in his life is Vanilla Ice and was nicknamed “Ice” by Scott Hall. He has a girlfriend, Beth Britt and they’ve been dating since 1999 and have been living together. The pair lost their dog, Jack, in a fire that consumed the Hardy’s house on March 2008.
